The Demobots are one of two primary factions in the Democratic mythos. They usually find themselves defending themselves against the Republicons, and upholding profits and welfare throughout the galaxy. 

They often are considered "the good guys" in a best of two horses race.

Usually Demobots take the form of bankers, lawyers and career politicians. This is not always true, however, as their ranks contain ne'er do-wells, malcontents, and unsavory types, and war has led them to adopt more hawkish forms. While Republicons hold more territory, the Demobots control the population centers and the majority of the popular culture.
